You don’t need to read from your own manuscript to be part of the room.
The Feedback Ticket gives you one of just 5 places to join The Unfinished Manuscript Bookclub as a reader and responder.
You’ll listen to extracts from unfinished manuscripts, take part in the discussion and offer structured reader response designed to help each writer understand how their work is landing.
The conversation will centre around three questions:
What stayed with you?
Where did you want more?
What would make you keep reading?
This is not line editing.
It is not about rewriting someone else’s work.
And you do not need to be an editor, critic or published author.
You are simply bringing something incredibly useful:
A reader’s response.
Your Feedback Ticket includes:
- A place in the full 90-minute facilitated session
- The opportunity to hear extracts from unfinished manuscripts
- Structured guidance for giving useful reader response
- Participation in the group discussion
- The chance to learn from how other writers approach their work
- A small, focused setting with fellow writers and readers
There is no requirement to bring or read your own manuscript with a Feedback Ticket.
You can simply listen, respond and be part of the conversation.
And if you’re working on your own writing, hearing how other manuscripts land can give you useful things to think about in your own work too.
